4 INTs in 2 games and he's #12? Pretty much takes this lists credibility away

Passer rating is a goofy made-up statLock this thread on the grounds that suggesting it's a list of the 'top' QBs is intentionally inflammatory
9/11/2011 10:28:11 PM
well he did make sure to list his boy at #98

i'm pretty sure O'Brien is much better than Tanner Price

pffht - Tevin Washington at GT has a 329.7 QB rating - this shit is just anti-option [Edited on September 12, 2011 at 12:46 AM. Reason : .]

Couldn't have put this in the RW heisman troll thread?
9/12/2011 12:50:39 AM
After 2 games passing efficiency is a worthless stat
9/12/2011 12:57:27 AM
truth, but I went ahead and made the thread. ha
9/12/2011 1:26:53 AM
4 INTS and 3 TDS, but his team is 2-0
9/12/2011 5:40:07 AM
Glennon up to 24th now. Russell Wilson 2nd (50/66 passing...wow). Bryn Renner is 8th.
9/19/2011 4:17:12 PM
Oh man, does this mean Russell Wilson is better than Mike Glennon?!?!? Please God don't tell me this is true!
9/19/2011 7:33:19 PM
8. Renner: 3 Games 57/70 81.43% 5 TD 4 INT 693 yards 176.73 Rating24. Glennon: 3 Games 59/92 64.13% 8 TD 1 INT 745 yards 158.67 RatingRenner has a better completion percentage and that's it...I'd definitely say this is a flawed statistic.

we all know who is gonna play sunday if anybody. let's not kid ourselves here
9/19/2011 8:24:16 PM
someone learn me. how'd they come up with those coefficients? is there any science to it, or are they just pulled out of someone's ass? is the wral glennon vs wilson jpeg a more accurate indicator of who's better?
9/19/2011 8:41:33 PM
It means fuckface over in chapel hill can go 23 of 24 passing for 200 yards to his tailback and TE with no td's can look like a golden god.

It's Wisconsin dude. What's funny is that Russell Wilson might be the only guy on that team who won't make the NFL. lol. (and he knows it!)
9/20/2011 7:18:28 AM
I was hoping he would impress enough people this year that he could squeeze into the second or third round of the draft, but that's definitely a long shot. Unless there's miracle combo of him having a good season, being seriously impressive at the combine, and Cam Newton continuing his current productivity (causing teams to look for scrambling QBs who aren't just overhyped fullbacks like Tebow) he'll be literally overlooked by NFL scouts./ see, cuz he's short// not really, he's listed as 5' 11", which is only short if you're standing next to P.Riv
9/20/2011 7:42:04 AM
I'm not a Wilson jock-rider, but I can definitely see him making the NFL.
9/20/2011 9:51:43 AM
9/20/2011 9:58:09 AM
Colin cowherd made a comment on his show about the group of QBs this year that will be in the NFL next year - Russell was right in the middle of his list. FWIW

no nfl team gives a shit about a mobile qb. even the greatest one to ever live is mangled after week 2.this is retarded to even discuss. wilson will not see significant playing time in the nfl, ever. sorry.
9/20/2011 1:27:43 PM
How much is significant? Troy Smith has played in several NFL games and even started a few.[Edited on September 20, 2011 at 1:32 PM. Reason : ]

Wilson's best hope is to be a Seneca Wallace/Tavaris Jackson type QB. Basically a competent 3rd string QB who can run a little and throw a little, but ultimately will never be anything more than a backup because of his size.I think Wilson will get drafted though as his Heisman campaign will get him media attention and he'll be worth the risk as a 6th or 7th round pick.

Wilson is mobile, but he isn't a run first QB. To say he won't be successful because he is mobile is disingenuous. He's been compared a lot to Drew Brees because of their size and decision making...IF he gets drafted I expect he'll do fine.

Yeah, I'd put money on it. If Jake Delhomme started in the NFL and Tavaris Jackson is starting in the NFL and a slew of other mediocre QBs, why couldn't Russ?
