I am looking to pay someone to write a parametric program for me. I need one for my business for estimating the cost on a project. I am have 9 items that go into this project and they are the same 9 that will always go in. The quantities will change based on the dimension. If anyone can do such a thing pm me and we can discuss this further.

Do you need a program for cost-estimation, or do you need someone to program a CNC machine?

We will need a detailed list of requirements, and any changes to the original contract will be out of scope, and out of pocket. <3 Dev

Talage pretty much said what we're all thinking. Why don't you just put together a spreadsheet?

time, it will take me 2 or 3 days to do it. i am not an exel wizard. i am a run a company wizard who hires people smarter than me to do things i am not good at. if i lost 2 days trying to make an excel sheet that i am not certain will work at the end then that is a large risk of my time. here at the basic perimeters, if some one can make it work i will pay for it. 1. we build light boxes for large companies like nike, belk, famous footware, the gap, and many more large retailers. every day i have to quote a new size light box. each size box cost different based on the size due to the number of led's, power supplies, footage of frame, sqft of graphics, size of backer board, and the lengths the parts come in. i also have to change cost of the items due to duties, dollar value vs euro and shipping costs. 2. i do not want to just use a square foot price because i need to know qty of components for inventory levels because it takes 6 weeks to get the aluminum and led's from china. 3. the market is very competitive so 50 bucks on a 3000 dollar light box is a lot when they order them in the 100's based on the number of locations the store has. yes a multi page spread sheet will work but i do not know how to put values on an item when one size box will take 200 leds and another will take 1000 based on size. and i do not know how to move from one page to the other in my formulas. and i do not have days to f-around with it should my attempt not work.
