This code indicates that there is a problem with the "Cam Shaft Position Sensor A Circuit High Input".

When I'm driving it the car seems underpowered and occassionally lurches forward as more power is applied.

This car was purchased from a dealer a few days ago. What are my options?

Go back to the dealer and see what they can do

either the sensor is unplugged, the sensor wiring harness is damaged, or the sensor is bad.

the first and last are easiest to test, in that order
