but you still have TWC

$339 is a fortune

How is this a game changer?Still seems significantly better to just get Direct TV?
8/18/2011 3:17:22 PM
It just allows people who don't have Directv to get the Sunday Ticket. Pretty sure Comcast is cheaper. It's not a huge deal...but it is nice.

i wish i could watch college football on my ps3 although i do have comcast now, but espn3 doesn't maximize on my tv [Edited on August 18, 2011 at 3:26 PM. Reason : .]

sunday ticket in general is a fortune, but all i know is we got it free when we went to DTV last yearnot renewing it this year, but i likely wont be still living in this house for most of football season anyway
8/18/2011 4:03:16 PM
amazing news. my house is in a place where we can't get a straight shot at the satellite without removing multiple trees.
8/18/2011 4:15:20 PM
So who here has directtv and would let me pay them $50 so I can get the ticket on my ps3?
8/18/2011 4:22:36 PM
I saw that DTV is now offering Sunday Ticket for free, but is that for new members or existing members as well? I really don't want to shell out $texas for ST again
8/18/2011 7:13:50 PM
^new members
8/18/2011 7:22:42 PM
that's some bullshit. think I could cancel my subscription and have my roommate put it in his name and get ST?
8/18/2011 7:23:29 PM
i assume you signed a 2-year contract w/ them, and there's probably a fee you would pay
8/18/2011 7:34:24 PM
You could call and tell them you are pissed they are giving it to new people for free and they will at least give it to you at a discount if not give it to you for free
8/18/2011 7:58:58 PM
"hey i got this service for free when i signed up for DTV last year...now I'm mad because you're doing the same thing for someone else"unless you actually paid for it when you signed up for DTV, then be pissed[Edited on August 18, 2011 at 8:03 PM. Reason : ]

it was part of the package. I think I'll call and bitch and if nothing happens then I'll pay the cancelation fee and put it in somebody somebody elses name (assuming it save money, which it probably will)
8/18/2011 8:05:16 PM
if you are a direct tv customer, it's actually cheaper to buy a ps3 ($249) and pay the $50 nfl sunday ticket charge for the ps3, than it is to subscribe to sunday ticket directly.
8/18/2011 9:02:06 PM
You have to have Sunday Ticket to get Sunday Ticket to Go.
8/18/2011 9:04:34 PM
^wrong. Something is new. Last year I had to be a DTV subscriber to get Sunday Ticket. This year, non-DTV subscribers (e.g. TWC subscribers like me) can get NFL Sunday ticket (on their PS3).This is not hard, folks.[Edited on August 21, 2011 at 9:33 PM. Reason : .]
