Anyone done this? If you wanted to make some clothing with the block S or some other NCSU insignia, any ideas on how much that license would be?

I once tried to make a custom tshirt on zazzle.com with one of the main Goodfellas movie poster pictures on it and they emailed me back and said there would be some $600 or so licensing fee, although I don't know if that would've entitled me to buy as many of the shirts as I wanted for that flat feeAlso he might've just been BSing me since he figured nobody would pay that much for a tshirt

These people are vulchers. If they see a way to make a penny, they'll hammer your ass. Or, even if they can't make money, but you can, and they can fuck things up for you, they will.

I've explored this in the past (when I looked into making this is not RED t-shirts/banners).If you want to sell your own line of collegiate licensed clothing, it requires $1,000,000 in PLI.Alternatively, you can go through a t-shirt company that already has the requisite PLI, but this increases your costs significantly enough that you need really significant volume to make any scratch. Ultimately, it wasn't worth the hassle to go through with it.

Honestly your best bet would probably be to just print it from a computer onto some of that iron on paper and make the stuff yourself.

Chance: its not that you can't make a little scratch on small volume shirts or designs. Like bobbydogital said, just find a licensed screenprinter and go through them. You'll pay 12-15 per shirt in volume and be able to sell them for 20, which ain't a bad deal.Small run orders will probably cost you ~20 a shirt, you can sell for 22-25. Its possible to make money but you aren't gonna be selling 2.95 bulk shirts from India, at least not legally.
