BLUF, awards on my class b shirt are loose and wobble due to the fact the shirt is thin and doesn't support ribbons and badges well. How do I keep them tight and flush against the short sleeve shirt? Never had to wear them just on a shirt and not on a thick coat the kep them in place.
Thanks

When you cut your belt to make it brass on brass...

... Use the piece you cut off as a backing.

Voila!

^^^^

How many rows of ribbons will that work with? Maybe 3?

[Edited on August 4, 2011 at 9:40 PM. Reason : Haha, BLUF is kinda pointless for 1 little paragraph]

^Only ever used it for name tags. There's only so much belt to cut, without having to buy another belt for the sole purpose of racking ribbons.

Cardboard works great. Can also get white plastic pieces sold for the purpose that aren't visible through the shirt. Probably not a problem with the green shirts.

cardboard isn't visible through the shirt if you cut it to fit behind whatever you have pinned to your shirt.

Yeah, I thought that was a universally known trick. Better yet, don't wear awards with Class B shirts.
