Saw this trailer yesterday while watching the Captain American movie. Looked ridiculous (in a good way):http://www.missionimpossible.com/Someone embed please.Say what you want about Cruise, but for the most part he does action movies (and Mission Impossible ones specifically) extremely well. I'm kinda excited about this.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm a self proclaimed huge Cruise fan and a big fan of the MI series as well. I've seen the bootleg trailer online but hopefully i'll get to check it out when I see C.A. this week.

Tom Cruise is a nutjob. I still enjoy watching his work. I also saw this trailer and do think it'll be a good movie. I didn't see Ving Rhames in the trailer but I see him in the cast on imdb. Good.

Tom Cruise is indeed a nutjob but he's still good in movies. He keeps his personal life out of his professional life for the most part so I have no problem with it. It's kinda like Michael Jackson... he was crazy as hell but nobody can deny that the man was talented.

Yeah I saw the trailer with something a few weeks ago (green lantern maybe?) and thought it looked great. Want to see it.
8/1/2011 11:12:37 AM
M.I series explains what COOL is.
8/1/2011 11:40:12 AM
hehe, simon pegg would seem to add a bit of comic humor in this action flick. seems enjoyable. And yes, I don't care if tom cruise is crazy either, he's still entertaining.
8/1/2011 6:10:24 PM
Saw this last night. Simon Pegg was hilarious. Made a nice foil for Cruise.Fun movie. Not amazing, but def entertaining. It's basically straight travel porn and BMW porn.
12/16/2011 10:02:04 AM
93% on RT That combined with Brad Bird directing kind of make me want to see it.
12/16/2011 12:22:08 PM
i've heard it's actually very good and a great freshman debut (for live action) from Bird. i'll be seeing it soon
12/16/2011 12:40:14 PM
Saw an advanced screening on Wednesday at the IMAX downtown. It was pretty much foot on the pedal action throughout, very entertaining. It was a little over the top and ridiculous and cheesy (obviously, it's a mission impossible movie) but I highly enjoyed it. Plus, Paula Patton, she is now everything to me
12/16/2011 1:04:24 PM
Also saw an IMAX screening. Looks sharp and story wasn't bad. But you pretty much have to turn your brain off and just enjoy the action sequences(like watching The Expendables). Way to many moments where everyone involved should be dead, haha. I really expected Tom Cruise to look old throughout the movie, but he didn't really look old until late in the movie, one scene he looked VERY old, it was a bit surprising, haha.

Really hope the gf is in to seeing this over the xmas break.
12/16/2011 1:34:00 PM
I don't think I've seen any real previews on TV for this movie. Just the super gay ones that promote the shit out of BMW
12/16/2011 1:46:47 PM
I had no idea Brad Bird directed this. Will see now.
12/16/2011 1:54:18 PM
^^ the whole movie is a promo for BMW. The advanced screening I saw last night was sponsored by BMW.^^^ if your gf likes travel and attractive men (I'm assuming she does ) then she'll enjoy the movie
12/16/2011 6:16:41 PM
Some tell me is Ving Rhames really in this movie? I know his name is in credits, but is he really in the movie? I did not see him in any commercials. If he is not a major person (at least equal to his last roles) I will skip. III
12/17/2011 9:55:46 PM
Saw this yesterday at the Cineramadome in Hollywood. Fucking awesome. Really fun popcorny action flick. Simon Pegg was great.^ Possible spoiler alert: he's in it for about 3-4 minutes.
12/21/2011 7:27:49 PM
Movie was great, hope they continue the series.
12/23/2011 1:16:51 PM
I was actually slightly underwhelmed. But it was still very good and entertaining. I just think I saw all the "awesome" parts in the trailer.
12/23/2011 1:53:00 PM
I will be skipping this movie....Thanks. III
12/23/2011 5:26:58 PM
Thought this movie was awesome. A couple parts where you have to suspend disbelief but that's to be expected.
12/23/2011 6:51:11 PM
I enjoyed it. And to dude skipping solely because of little Ving Rhames...really? Its Ving Rhames.
12/23/2011 8:03:20 PM
Pretty good action film. Worth the price of a ticket.
12/23/2011 8:16:22 PM
First half of the movie was clever and on the edge of being plausible, but it goes off the disbelief deep end after that and just sends the ridiculous into overdrive. That being said, I enjoyed it, and it felt like a spy version of Modern Warfare's plot.
12/24/2011 10:53:22 AM
very solid movie. like the rest, enjoyed it for what it's worth. there are those moments that are absolutely ridiculous but it has to be expected
12/24/2011 5:49:10 PM
12/24/2011 11:13:28 PM
Well if you enjoy the storyline and cast around him then go for Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg.
12/25/2011 2:21:58 AM
Hey guys is Ving Rhames in the new Batman movie?uhh...He wasn't in the first two..
12/25/2011 7:56:36 PM
saw it today. 8/10.
12/25/2011 8:36:40 PM
we saw it at the IMAX 4:20 showingliked it, but as picky as rotten tomatoes usually is, not sure how it got up to 93%
12/25/2011 9:15:31 PM
I saw it and thought it was pretty good as well. With the reveal at the end, I could not remember for the life of me if I saw MI:3 because I totally didn't remember the person. I even went back and watched the trailers for MI:3, and still have no clue if I've seen it. It all seems so vaguely familiar. Anyway, I own it on DVD so maybe I'll have to give it a watch sometime soon.
12/25/2011 9:30:43 PM
Paula patton didn't really do it for me as a Bond (oops, IMF ) girl. I FUCKING LOVED maggie Q in the third one. Also, the action and comic relief is good as advertised, but the acting was god awful in certain parts. I mean it was just surprisingly bad.
12/30/2011 7:36:30 PM
Not nearly as good as MI:3.But worth the ticket I guess.<3 MI:3
12/30/2011 8:28:41 PM
I rank them 1>>3>4>>>>>2
12/30/2011 8:37:45 PM
saw it tonight at marbles imax. first time i had seen a movie in that theater...wow the screen is HUGE... loved the movie.
12/30/2011 11:13:38 PM
I don't even remember what happened in MI:3. This one I won't forget.
12/31/2011 1:04:34 PM
OMG you don't remeber tom cruise playing philip seymore hoffman? Hoffman made the third one, but the directing in the first one that was key for me and puts it on top of MI3. MI:I was classic de Palma mixed in with some killer action.
12/31/2011 1:52:34 PM
Solid holiday action flick. I enjoyed it even if some of the plot felt prickly to my understanding of how nuclear warfare theoretically works.
12/31/2011 7:55:02 PM
saw this last night and really enjoyed it.
