so...ive heard that you cannot connect to xbox live without having at least an 80 GB hard drive...yet they sell one that is "live compatible" with only a 20GB hard drive...TWW whats the truth to this?

i had a 12 GB hard drive for 3.5 yrs and connected just finein fact w/o my hard drive in the bay just yesterday, I connected to xbox live with just a 4 GB usb stick attached

There is no truth to it. I connect with my 20 GB system every day. Also, you can buy a 4 GB system and it comes with one month of free XBL. Wouldn't make sense to give you that if you couldn't use it.

I have a 4gb xbox 360 with no hard drive in it. It works just fine on Xbox Live.

friend of mine had a 60 GB in his Xbox360 and we were at my house playing one night, new dashboard came out right before the kinex and it said that he needed a new hard drive to install the new dashboard and get on live....i suggested his was full, which it was not....he ended up buying a 120 GB the next day.

I was gonna buy a new 4GB 360 the other day as a replacement but then I was like "why the fuck am I going to limit myself to a 4GB hard drive" so I got the 250
