Were you speeding like a felon, or was it just one of those hick town things where the speed limit is 45 when it should be 55?

I got some good advice the other day. Just look up a couple of law offices online, call them up, and ask if the lawyer ever worked in the DA's office. Pick whichever one has the best stories about his DA office days. If it was a speed trap town they'll probably charge you $300-400, get it dropped down to improper equipment, and go play golf with their DA buddy. All in the same day.

81 where it had been 70 and then abruptly went to 55. the person who said they'd get me a "deal" wanted $400 + 171 court cost + 100 fine and I was still going to get 14 over with 2-3 points and insurance increase. im just going to go represent myself and use a pjc
