I'm taking a 2500 mile road trip this fall, and I thought about renting instead of using mine. If I'm going to rent, having something fun would be pretty cool. Hertz you can rent a Mustang, Challenger or Camaro, but they arent available in NC.

Anywhere else around that would rent something similar to that? I checked the big rental companies, and it seems Hertz is maybe the only one that rents sports cars.

You cannot rent a sports car from any normal rental place, unless you count an automatic vette.

Hertz bought a bunch of special edition Shelby mustangs. Of course the new V6s are probably putting out that much power

We just took a trip and rented from budget. They offered to upgrade us to a convertible mustang.

maybe i don't understand what you're saying...because the hertz website has an "adrenaline collection" that includes the camaro SS, mustang GT, and challenger RT

i mean that none of those are sports cars.

(but it is pretty cool that Hertz rents them. They've rented high-ish performance stuff for a long time.)

^^Hertz website wont let me choose the adrenaline line in NC Thats what I was saying, and thus the need for another company that rents cool cars.
