The only real fight I was ever in was in my senior year of HS (2002) in the arboretum parking lot in Charlotte. Yes I destroyed them. And they got "banned" from the shopping center and I did not haha. Basically they were being punks and probably looking for a fight anyway. The one kid was being cute calling me some choice words for wearing skinny-jeans. I said something snarky back in passing and the kid spit in my face. I am an extremely laid back person in real life. Very non-confrontational (to my disadvantage sometimes). I almost certainly wouldn't even do the same thing today being an adult as I think fighting unless it's a true personal safety thing is just stupid, but spitting in my face just crossed a line that night. /shrug

Two of the 'best' parts might have been that one of the kid's friends there with him was a sophomore I tutored at my school and who was in an English class I TA'd for that semester. It was kind of awkward the next Monday as he tried to apologize for his friend being a douche. The other was right after the kid spit in my face, another one of his friends who wrestled for Providence HS and just knew who I was via wrestling was like "dude, you're an idiot, do you know who that is?"

in 8th grade i think, I got in a fight with one of my good friends (over what I can't even remember) on the bus. He punched me in the face, and I kicked him in the head, and then the bus driver broke it up.

3 days of ISS for that one.

I took Karate/Muay Thai for 13 years growing up...was a "junior instructor" by age 11, haha.

The only fight I ever got into was my freshman year of high school. There was this junior who was in my PE class. He was at least a foot taller than me, and was a typical idiot redneck type...and was ALWAYS harassing me for some unknown reason. One day he spent the entire gym class hurling basketballs at me and actually clocked me in the head pretty good...twice.

I was always taught never to start a fight, but to damn sure finish one. I was at my breaking point.

After class, we all went back to the locker room and he approached me. He went to swing at me, but he totally telegraphed the punch (we called it the haymaker...when they swing soooo wide that it takes forever for them to actually hit you). I instinctively dropped into my "fighting stance", punched him so fast/hard in the solar plexus he left the ground. This sent him backwards into a locker, and I went in for the kill. Put my arms around his neck, grabbed my fists, pulled him in close and started kneeing him repeatedly until the teacher pulled me off of him.

I didnt even get in trouble...I got sent to the principals office but I explained that it was self defense and everyone else in the class backed me up on the fact that this dude was a grade-A douchenozzle and deserved to get his ass handed to him.

Amazingly I never got ISS for my fights. I guess they were more laid back about those sorts of things in the eighties. I did get ISS in middle school for something I didn't even do (supposedly talked smack to some girl in my PE class that I had never talked to ). That's when I learned the world is unfair lol.

Several in 6th grade, most of them with one guy (who was actually a friend)

The first one was because he wanted to jump his skateboard off a bookshelf and have us catch him.

Everyone else scattered and I was the only one who tried to catch him, and he hit the ground. Somehow he blamed me for it and started swinging. I won that one so I think he started the other ones to get revenge.


I also fought a retarded kid that kept kicking me in 4th grade. I'm not proud of that but it is funny

I haven't really been in many true fights, but I did get the shit beat out of me and almost drowned by a kid with down's at the lake one year. He wasn't even trying to fight me; he just thought he was drowning and proceeded to climb on top of me. Every time I tried to get out from under him, he kicked the shit out of me and pushed me down again. He was the epitome of "retard strength".
