try another output format. if you're using hdmi switch to component or vice-versa

ebay. Your gonna spend more fixing than its worth. You can find a replacement for under a 100 assuming this is the old white box.

Are you using HDMI, component, or composite cables?If you are using component, I know it might sound trivial but there is a switch on the actual part that plugs into the XBox that might be switched to composite or vice versa. It's worth a shot.

Dear gents,It's not the cable. I'm sure it's just that shitty leaded soldering that melts at too low a temp, mixed with the too little thermal paste put on my MS.It's usually been hooked up via component (already tried switching the TV vs. HDTV switch) and also tried using an HDMI cable.Basically, I'm just hoping for a miracle because we don't want to spend $TEXAS$ to have it fixed.
