wouldn't it be easier to use an emulator?
4/28/2011 10:29:41 PM
the only problem is that you'd need to download ROMs to use in themand apart from a few fan-made games, most ROMs are illegally copied from commercial game cartridges

minor detailbesides if you're that concerned you can buy the cartridge so the rom becomes a personal backup and you still don't need the console

I would prefer to actually have the game and system versus playing it on a computer.

Somewhere in the attic I've got:SNESDreamcastSaturn (yeah, a Sega Saturn)And of course games for them. I think I ended up tossing my Genesis because the console could no longer be powered on. I've probably got a few games for the Genesis lying around though. Maybe even a few Master System games.I'll have to dig.

Sent everyone a PM. Hopefully I'm going to be old school gaming in no time. Those systems bring back some memories. The NES I remember Super Mario 3 just being the world's best game back in the day. I remember leaving the SNES on for days as my parents and I finished up Zelda. The dreamcast I remember getting that one when it lanched in 9-9-99 for my birthday. As soon as I started it up and played the Sonic demo I was like Sadly they dropped the ball like 2 years after that.
