My house is inland, facing the sound. The sound never floods there and it's not nearly as bad as the outer banks. Plus it's 10 minutes from sawahash. HURRICANE PARTY.

Floyd was more recent (99 vs 95 i think), but I think it was bad mainly because of all the rain and it just lingered around

I was in Wilson at the time, and there was major flooding there
