4/1/2011 6:10:51 PM
uh oh, making a comeback, down 15-10 in the bottom of the 9thokay, its over, but 17 hits is pretty impressive[Edited on April 1, 2011 at 6:18 PM. Reason : adsf]
4/1/2011 6:14:53 PM
this is going to be a looooooooong seasonI hope Acta can work some magic with these boys.
4/1/2011 6:16:07 PM
And we're on the board!Nice 6 7 8 today
4/3/2011 3:47:19 PM
Good looking box score today fellas
4/5/2011 11:07:11 PM
DO WORK DROOBS
4/6/2011 9:45:16 PM
motherfucking swept the Sawks, woooooooo
4/7/2011 8:19:19 PM
It's a great start for sure. Clutch hitting like last night, and winning 1-0 games like today are great signs for the future. These guys are so young that if they got in a hole early and their confidence got down it could send the season in a downward spiral. I'm looking forward to see if they can keep the mojo going.ps: droobs is a beast! homerun ftw last night, bunt ftw today
4/7/2011 8:56:10 PM
Fellas I'm trying to not get excited, but we may be onto something here. Keep it going Acta!10 run inning yesterday [Edited on April 9, 2011 at 11:46 AM. Reason : First time with sole possession of the Central since '08 ]
4/9/2011 11:45:25 AM
sooo can yall keep beating up on LAA plz? Then plz to figure out how to beat Texas... thx
4/12/2011 9:32:24 AM
Loving this team, and now we are about to get my mancrush Grady Sizemore back. Big four game series at KC this week that will break our tie on top of the central (did I really just say that? ?)
4/16/2011 10:49:25 PM
WTAM in Cleveland says Sizemore is going to lead off today vs the O'sI'm not in favor of messing with Brantley in the lead off spot. It puts unnecessary pressure on Grady to perform and the top of the lineup is a big reason we're 10-4. The 6 spot would be perfect to work him back in.Fausto gets his first win today in the sweep
4/17/2011 11:46:37 AM
wow, I just read an article last night saying he was ready to play, but would wait a couple days to ease him in.
4/17/2011 1:19:14 PM
Grady homers second at bat. Fuck yes.[Edited on April 17, 2011 at 2:13 PM. Reason : whoops]
4/17/2011 1:48:06 PM
Pronk, Grady and Santana homered, Fausto gets the win, and the Tribe earned their 3rd sweep of the season. This team is fun as hell to watch, whatever Acta is doing is working
4/17/2011 7:36:58 PM
best record in baseball?
4/19/2011 12:23:34 PM
Correction: best record in baseball WITHOUT two best hitters contributing (Shin-Soo and Santana).
4/19/2011 12:25:12 PM
Hafner and Grady and Asdrubal arent slouches either
4/19/2011 6:10:20 PM
Even as a fan, I had no real expectations coming into this season. Last year was just that demoralizing. I'm not sure which is more shocking at this point though, the fact that the Indians have the best record in the AL, or that fact that even with the best record they only hold a 1 game lead in the central, over KC.
4/22/2011 3:54:23 PM
3 game losing streak
4/24/2011 5:11:05 PM
4/24/2011 5:35:56 PM
you cant call it a sweep til they play the postponed game from Friday
4/24/2011 8:20:02 PM
a month later, lol @ op
5/1/2011 4:18:19 PM
how many sweeps have we had already this year? 4?I absolutely love this team
5/1/2011 4:33:06 PM
All three wins were gotten on our last at bat this weekend too. The walk off grand slam, the Cabrera extra inning single, and today the rally in the 8th.This club can do no wrong at the moment, and it is stunning to watch.LET'S GO TRIBE
5/1/2011 8:10:22 PM
I'm sorry, this was our 5th sweep of the season. Best record in baseball and 4.5 games ahead of the royals, 7.5 over detroit and 10 games ahead of the twins and white sox
5/1/2011 9:23:02 PM
Alex White went to my high school. Won us the state championship in baseball my freshman year. Glad to see he is successful.
5/2/2011 2:13:07 AM
lol @ Choo getting a DUI
5/3/2011 6:39:11 PM
yet another 9th inning win last night
5/4/2011 5:53:49 AM
I'll take it, especially on the road. They just haven't looked too comfortable away from Jacob's Field (no I will not call it whatever the new name is) so far this season. Last night's win gives them a 7-6 record on the road which will have to improve. The home record of 13-2 is pretty, but there is no way they can maintain that sort of pace for the entire season. The longer this goes, the more my hopes actually rise though. It is hard to have a 28 game fluke if you don't actually have a solid team. The most encouraging thing is that everyone has been pitching in instead of just having one or two people get hot and carry the entire load. Over the long run, that is way more sustainable.
5/4/2011 3:33:49 PM
Won in the 12th inning today, took two out of three in oakland. Onward to Anaheim
5/5/2011 8:22:08 PM
3-3 on the west coast trip, I'll take that anytime especially going up against and performing really well against two of the hottest pitchers in baseball - weaver and haren. Plus every game was close, time to keep thw home cooking goibg vs the rays.Go Tribe!
5/8/2011 9:21:48 PM
Could have been worse, but could have been better. Still, a 3-3 split on the road against two decent teams is acceptable. Its taking a little getting used to, but I'm getting more confident with every game that this team has a chance to win every time they take the field. We're 30+ games in now and except for the first two games of the season they've had a chance to win every game in their last few at bats.
5/9/2011 8:25:30 AM
Yet another walk off. Pronk with a 2 run blast to center that you know just had to piss Wedge off haha.
5/14/2011 7:42:51 AM
Anyone watchong this ass beating the Tribe is putting on the Royals right now? Top of the 6th, up 17-1. Every member of the starting lineup has at least one hit and run scored.
5/16/2011 10:26:14 PM
Pronk being out for 3-4 weeks is gonna hurt, hopefully Grady comes back soon too. I know we are still rolling along, beating the first place reds today, but we'll need their offenseAnother day another hero, this team is amazing and so much fun to watch
5/21/2011 8:06:01 PM
*broom*
5/22/2011 10:07:43 PM
Tribe's finally on tv, asdrubal is 2/2 tonighr so far with a homer. He's 7 for hos last 7 with 3 hrs over the last two games. DamnI really can't wait to see how good this offense can be when Choo, Santana, Grady and Hafner are all healthy and producing.7 game lead in the central, wahoo!
5/23/2011 9:21:13 PM
18-4 at home is pretty ridiculous. i hope by posting this, you don't go on and get swept at home by the Red SawksBTW, my moral victory is your 1-4 record against Chicago
5/23/2011 9:30:58 PM
Of course I fell asleep one hitter before droobs wins it for us Interesting little stat in the recap this morning though
5/24/2011 5:56:17 AM
5/24/2011 8:36:25 AM
I watch every Angels game via MLB.tv might be overkill if your a casual fan.
5/24/2011 9:04:42 AM
Potential healthy lineup:Brantley, Sizemore, Cabrera, Hafner, Choo, Santana, Laporta, Hanahan, Cabrera.Damn that's nasty. All those trades over the past coupe years are looking genius.A. Cabrera for Eduardo Perez.Sizemore, Cliff Lee, Brandon Phillips for Bartolo Colon.Hell, even Masterson for Victor Martinez doesn't look too shabby. Masterson had some nasty stuff last night...94 mph fastball with a TON of movement.Go Tribe.
5/24/2011 11:01:54 AM
then from phillips you got jeff stevens, who you traded for mark derosa, who then got traded for Chris Perez..the cliff lee trade doesn't seem so good so far though
5/24/2011 12:09:53 PM
been reading up on Drew Pomeranz this morning, kid is going to be a stud when he makes it to the big clubs pitching staff.
