looks like a new tundra but size of the old ones.but someones trying to match toyotos tacoma.since the chevy colorado and gmc canyon arent working out like they wanted them too.all GM needed to do was either make it small and more fuel efficient or make it a little bigger and make a good v6 turbo

Probably the same dickbag that thought it would be a good idea to make a youtube video consisting of nothing but still images instead of just linking to a photo gallery.

Remember when the Ranger was the best selling compact truck in the US? And then Ford literally didn't change it for ten years and now it's lightyears behind Toyota...gg Ford.

Ford sold about 400,000 F-150 trucks in 2010 (source: edmunds)Best. Selling. Vehicle.I read somewhere that the F-150 is more profitable than a smaller truck, and in the absence of the Ranger, potential buyers just buy the F-150. Offering the Ranger for sale in the States isn't going to poach sales from the Toyota Tacoma (a measly 100,000 units in 2010), but from their cash cow, the F-150.If the Tacoma magically started selling in numbers comparable to the F-150, or anywhere close, I would expect to see Ford bringing the Ranger to the U.S. market, but until then, they have every incentive not to.

I think the new global Ranger is 90% the size of the F-150 . . .

looks more updated than the pos rangers out today. Wonder if Canada gets them? But I'll probably never get a compact truck since the only thing I'm hauling is a small motorcycle trailer and the acura pulls it just fine.
