Does that metals recycling place take them? I know they wouldn't mind the metal stuff, but what about the stuff that has chemicals in them (struts, axle, brake lines)?

there are metal recycling yards that will actually give you a couple bucks for the stuff based on weight.

i don't know any here but there is one in charlotte/harrisburg off highway 49

I took all my old suspension shit off my jeep to raleigh metal recycling. It was sketch as shit but worth $15 i guess
