We are getting married this summer on Sunday night and we need to find a house to rent that will sleep a majority of our wedding party(10) for under 2500. We need it to rent MONDAY to MONDAY or tue-tue, wed-wed, or similar. Any advice? I am finding that any place for mid-july ONLY rent Sunday to Sunday or Saturday to Saturday. HELP

Is there a specific beach that you are looking for? If you're interested in Atlantic Beach, I've done some research for that part of NC during that time period. Where are you getting married? Not to burst your bubble but most of the rentals during peak season will rent either Sunday-Sunday or Saturday-Saturday. Vrbo.com is a good starting place...

^ This has been my experience. It was impossible to find a place that did mid-week rentals. Some places might do it if you call and tell them what you're looking for. That's probably your best bet, though I don't think I'd advertise the fact that you're looking to house the wedding party.

^Yeah, I considered this. I don't think I will mention that. ^^Carolina or Kure. And yeah, I am finding that out.

You could probably manage it in the off season, but not the middle of the summer.

^what he said.your best bet is to find a place that's renting for really cheap and book for 2 straight weeks.

Between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle you could definitely find someone that would do this. But for mid-week rentals they'd probably charge you extra, even if you book ahead.

http://www.bluewaternc.com/CrystalCoast/VacationRentals/EmeraldIsle/Details/RxPad/Use their search feature. We rent casa atlantica (gigantic ass house right on the beach, not available for you I'm afraid) almost every year in the fall. That's one in your price range. Just use their search feature, pick what you want, and you'll have some options. I'd reserve it now, though. You can get some absolutely huge places for $3k. Just get everybody who goes to pay a little towards the house and get a fantastic mansion on the beach. I know it's your wedding, but if they were flying into Raleigh they'd be paying for a hotel room so I think it balances out.

^true, since for the most part the houses are privately owned. However, they would not turn down a potential renter because a wedding party is staying there, as long as you do not go over the capacity that is agreed on your contract. I could see owners not wanting their places rented to college students for spring break, but I don't any reason why they would care that a wedding party is staying there. Some of the houses Blue Water rents will allow you to have weddings at the house as long as its not a big one.

Nobody is saying that a party would be thrown in the house though. If you were planning on having the wedding there, then yes, that is different and you should be renting an event property rather than tricking the rental agency.
