1/19/2011 12:02:49 AM
Well I don't want children traffiked during the Super Bowl. Any other time, sure, but it's the damn Super Bowl, people!!!(This sounds like a ploy to raise awareness about human trafficking. 'Ya know, if we attach it to some huge event, it'll get linked/emailed across the united states...hey, everyone watches the Super Bowl!)

1/19/2011 8:12:07 AM
No wonder those old guys have sacrificed so much to go to every super bowl
1/19/2011 8:18:24 AM
if you're driving at night and approach a car with its lights off, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM, because they are probably part of a gang and they're being initiated and if you flash your lights at them they will chase you down and shoot you in the face.
1/19/2011 9:57:42 AM

it only gets worse the more northern/industrial the participating teams areSo god help the children if The Steelers and Detroit ever make the SB
1/19/2011 11:37:58 AM
actually i believe northern and central Florida has the most pedophiles in the nation. luckily Jacksonville and Tampa Bay both suck.
1/19/2011 11:44:45 AM
Are you all denying that human trafficking is a major problem, or just that you don't think the super bowl is a big enough attraction for sex workers to flock to?
1/19/2011 11:52:25 AM
^ well, since you asked....i'm saying that this is a scam foisted upon a well-intentioned but barely-cognizant public by some Bible Thumpers from Podunk County, Texas, who want a piece of the multi-million dollar action already being tasked by state and federal law enforcement to combat the normally expected amounts of prostitution (child and otherwise) that naturally occur in a modern society around any major public eventand that this religious organization (the 911 in Traffick911 stands for Psalms 9:11, by the way) is committed to combating the "slavery of American children" which is nice and good and all but they frame it as if football fans and super bowl attendees are the prime source and/or cause of human trafficking in America today, as being a bunch of drunken pedophile men looking to sodomize some 9 year olds.when, in fact, barely 3% of the global source of human trafficking originates in America, that even the United Nations recognizes that the vastly under reported amounts of human trafficking is foreign MEN who are trapped into slave labor by withholding passports in foreign countries until they pay off a ridiculous amount of "debt".this religious org, Traffick911, is partnered with a fuckton of other religious nutjob orgs, who all stand to get a piece of the action if Traffick911 is able to force their way into the logistical planning of Law Enforcement prioritization around the Super Bowl, as they intend to do.I wonder if there's any coincidence that many of their "faith-based" partners happen to support legislation that looks to reduce or ban the consumption and/or sale of alcoholic beverages in their respective areas of influence.but i digress. sign the petition, reduce "slavery" and "human trafficking" by some dubious amount for one day, and then you can spend the remaining 364 days of the year guilt-free reading your bible or working to ban alcohol sales on Sunday or something.yeah, okay. i should have put this in TSB. or CC.
