i took my GRE without studying and i did great (i don't claim to be a genius, either)if the GRE and SAT are still around when my kids are going to college, i'm going to tell them to take them both, one right after the other...they're basically the same thing

As a tutor (SAT, GRE, etc) I like Barron's and Kaplan generally. It's always better to have books from different companies to practice out of, since they will always put their own interpretation of the material you need to be familiar with.
