I have most of the service records, including the Ford recommended major tune up at 60k miles, (transmission flush, differential service, etc...)there is about a 6" scratch on the tailgate I have never had repaired. other than that it is very clean. I kept a seat cover on the driver seat so it shows very little wear. blue book link: http://www.kbb.com/used-cars/ford/explorer/2006/private-party-value/pricing-report?id=196216&condition=good&equipment=2035830AND GO!!![Edited on November 16, 2010 at 10:18 AM. it has a factory mounted hitch...the receiver is only 1 1/4" though. it is smaller than the standard 2" receiver you typically see. I think that is because it is only the V6 and cant pull what the V8 is rated for. I do have an adapter that looks like this:http://www.discountramps.com/cargoImages/receiver-adapter-3.jpgit works fine for light towing. I wouldnt use it for heavy stuff though.

^ agreed, my v6 has a correct hitch as well. (not to crap the OP's thread, the nominal cost to replace the hitch with a proper one shouldn't be a dealbreaker for anyone)

the hitch on this model is integrated with the bumper...so upgrading it is a bitch...I have inquired myself.
