10/12/2010 4:38:57 PM
no trolling plz. nothing wrong with this.
10/12/2010 4:43:23 PM
I'm not trolling, but I would like to state that even the most naive and blindly loyal State fan should not believe that RW has even a remote chance of even getting invited to New York for the Heisman ceremony, much less win it. *Even though he's the 2nd best qb we've had in the last 40 years.*
10/12/2010 4:50:43 PM
Wilson's odds of getting invited to NY are largely based on our record as a team8-4 he doesn't get invited11-1 he definitely gets the invite]
10/12/2010 4:52:33 PM
My little brother is actually the one that started this page. He is 12 and I'm just glad that the young Pack fans have something to be excited about.
10/12/2010 4:55:11 PM
^Ah, okay. Cynical comments retracted.
10/12/2010 4:57:04 PM
(its Hillsborough St)
10/12/2010 4:59:53 PM
info page says guy who made the facebook page is 13 years old and married??]
10/12/2010 5:03:49 PM
A facebook group eh? That is sure to work.
10/12/2010 5:13:42 PM
As much as Wilson probably could be contender, we all know that you have to be part of one of teh "popular" colleges that the media always drools over. i.e. the ohio state, texas, nebraska, USC, Miami, Alabama, etc.
10/12/2010 5:21:54 PM
10/12/2010 5:24:31 PM
Ingram? He has no chance whatsoever. He missed 2 games to start the season and then laid an egg last weekend.
10/12/2010 5:27:18 PM
Better chance than Russell Fucking WilsonMost people still have no idea who he is
10/12/2010 5:28:01 PM
please tell me you're kiddingShow me where in Ingram's play or any stats you have that back up this claim
10/12/2010 5:32:14 PM
C'mon Ribs. Ingram has a minuscule chance, but its better than the ZERO chance that RW has.
10/12/2010 5:34:01 PM
Don't try to bring logic into a discussion of Heisman candidates. This is the same organization who refused to give the award to a freshman or sophomore for decades, and who until recently routinely gave the award to the Quarterback on the best team, no matter his statistics or ability. Russell Wilson is not on a top team, nor is he a top 5 quarterback in the country. He will not be getting an invite to New York unless he throws for 400 yards, 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in every game for the rest of the season.
10/12/2010 5:35:24 PM
47 rushing yards vs Florida and 41 yards vs South Carolina are sure to set the Heisman voters on fire I'm not making a case for RW as much as I am making a case for Ingram NOT getting a Heisman sniff[Edited on October 12, 2010 at 5:37 PM. Reason : ./]
10/12/2010 5:36:12 PM
I'll bet at the end of year, if either gets any votes, Ingram will get more than WilsonI'll bet you 50 bucks
10/12/2010 5:38:46 PM
I'm not endorsing RW legitimately, I'm saying your wrong for even mentioning Ingram in the discussion. He has no shot whatsoever.
10/12/2010 5:41:24 PM
I understand your point. But please, either take the bet or shut the fuck up.
10/12/2010 5:42:33 PM
Show me where in this thread that said I thought Russell had a chance? I'm just here to call out your Ingram bullshit.
10/12/2010 5:43:47 PM
Reigning winner gets the benefit of the doubtLienart had a much worse year in '05 and still came in 3rd
10/12/2010 5:47:38 PM
I think the point of all of this is to get his name out there for some publicity.RW could throw for 450 yards, 6TDs, 0 INTs and rush for 100 yards for every game we have left and still would NOT finish in the top 3 of Heisman voting. No candidate wins that isn't incredibly popular before the season started, and we're not a big name school.

10/12/2010 5:53:39 PM
If Russell Wilson gets invited to NY for the Heisman CeremonyI will stop posting here and paypal everyone in this thread a hundred dollars
10/12/2010 5:56:39 PM
^^^if i remember correctly ingram wasnt a popular pick at the beginning of last year. he didnt even get into the chase til midseason[Edited on October 12, 2010 at 5:58 PM. Reason : lol glad i posted in this thread after that post]
10/12/2010 5:57:30 PM
he'll have to stop throwing INTs and people above him will have to start struggling [/obvious statement is obvious]but Rivers had a ridiculously good season and wasn't invited so who knows[Edited on October 12, 2010 at 6:19 PM. Reason : ]
10/12/2010 6:18:33 PM
IOP1...just in case. Don't wanna miss out on 100 bucks
10/12/2010 6:25:36 PM
I realize that Russell's chances are realistically slim. The purpose of the group is more or less to show support and appreciation for what Russell has done for our great University and the football program.
10/12/2010 6:25:39 PM
in for the .1% chance at $100
10/12/2010 6:31:09 PM

POST.[Edited on October 12, 2010 at 7:51 PM. Reason : is there a "posts in thread" multiplier?]
10/12/2010 7:50:31 PM
What happens if neither get votes. It would be at this point that t dub knows you're an idiot for thinking someone who has had an EMBARRASSING year would get heisman votes. Ingram was overrated last year and still is.Side note I want my hundred dollars
10/12/2010 7:58:38 PM
10/12/2010 8:04:43 PM
just in case

10/12/2010 8:25:21 PM
his ego will retort and say that it includes all posters in the thread
10/12/2010 8:27:48 PM
