At the Lee County Fair, I was able to attend a Demolition Derby, and it was quite entertaining. However, i have lived in North Carolina much of my life, and I've never seen one before. Are they common here? If so, where?

The NC State Fair has one every year. Its usually on a Friday/Saturday night
