Hopefully a different one than the end of last year. Preferably without Ellie Kemper on the cast.

Seriously though, it should be better since they can do a whole bunch of stuff with Carell's last season.

I don't remember a single thing that happened last season

It's probably better that way

Harvey Keitel for the new boss!

Or just give it to Todd Packer

The only major arcs were:
- Halpert wedding
- Halpert baby
- Dunder Mifflin going bankrupt

The minor shit/rest of the season:
- Jim/Michael sharing boss duties
- Andy trying to get with Erin
- Unsinkable Molly Brown coming to town/running shit

and of course..

- Michael being (exceptionally, even for The Office) awkward

I used to love re-watching episodes but I can think of only 2 or 3 that I have watched more than once and enjoyed

Season 6 goes on sale sometime soon, if it hasn't already. The initial price point for season 5 was ridiculous. Over $50. I'll probably do what I did with season 5... buy it on a whim once it drops down to $15. $15 seems to be the right price for any recent season of the Office.

As a fan from the very first episode, I can say this:

Let this show die already.

So, I was just kicking through the NBC website, and they posted the video open for the first episode. Awful and really not funny. Who could have thought that was a good idea? Definitely going to skip that on the DVR when I watch it. I guess the only good thing was that Pam's rack looked fine...

^^ I see you posted it already -- you thought that was funny? Eh, different strokes. My least favorite Scrubs episode ever was the musical thing so maybe I'm just weird not to like that kind of stuff. HIMYM got it right with the tiny 2:30 minute funny suit song though.

*** Also, I'm re-watching some of the episodes from Season 6 since I just got the DVD a few days ago and even though the overall story arc failed IMO, the individual episodes are still getting a pretty decent laugh from me.

to me, thats what i really liked about season 1/season 2 office. the quotes/antics from those seasons were pure hilarity and i could've cared less about the overall plot.

it wasn't until the drama really started to kick in season 4 when the show IMO started its downfall. michael's wild actions and the dwight/jim pranks in the later seasons also just seem so much more "forced" than before. and they need to stop resorting to women getting pregnant in order to form a new arc

can anyone else stand watching episodes like these:
season 4 - chair model
season 5 - lecture circuit 1&2
season 5 - cafe disco
season 6 - murder
season 6 - the banker
season 6 - st. patrick's day

^^ Season 1 was just trying to mimic the UK version word for word. It just didn't fit the characters as well as it did in the UK version.

Agreed that Michael's hair was distracting, as well as his chubbiness. Glad they let Steve Carrell be more of himself.

This.

I can't believe some of you people have watched seven seasons of this show, without ever seeing a single episode from the original.

I prefer the US show, at least up to the end of season three, but the UK is hilarious.

As horrible as Erin is, they did a good job bringing Gabe on. I really like his character. Decent episode. Better than a lot of the second half of last season, for sure. Liked the Jim/Pam pranks with Dwight acting really self-important.

** Oh and off topic, but I watched five minutes of Outsourced and turned it off. This shit is why I can't see a full season of P&R?

I watched the first 10 minutes of Outsourced just because I wanted to see if it lived up to all the terrible reviews. I would have been amused at how horrible it was but then I remembered that I'm missing Parks & Rec for this trash.

^^I really laughed at the Detroit bit on Outsourced. I want it to survive because I want some reason to make myself feel more accustomed to Indian culture, which seems to dominate engineering. But the Indian people I know aren't funny in real life..

seriously?

The show isn't about Indian culture... the whole joke is Indian people not knowing anything about stupid American culture, which isn't even slightly funny.

I liked the idea of Gabe, but not the execution. At first he seemed like a typical unmotivated brooding 16yo wanna-be. Then he turned into a smart-ass ADHD 13yo.

Anyways, I don't think he'll be back. Ryan, Kelly, Creed and Meredith still entertain me, but the rest of the cast have become same ol' tired same ol'.

How is that? The movie pretty much explored the whole area of the idea. The movie also struggled to find funny material so I don't know why they made this a tv show.

I forgot what it was, but something Creed said during the "debate" was fantastic and had me LOLing. Also, I love when Michael goes on Toby bashing for no reason (lol, when he said the guy cheating with his girl was "just a notch above Toby" last year) so him having to be counseled by him could be hilarious...
