Starts Thursday 9-23Pretty pumped to see what direction this season takes
9/7/2010 1:51:11 PM
Hopefully a different one than the end of last year. Preferably without Ellie Kemper on the cast.Seriously though, it should be better since they can do a whole bunch of stuff with Carell's last season.
9/7/2010 1:54:16 PM
I don't remember a single thing that happened last seasonIt's probably better that way
9/7/2010 2:00:02 PM
Harvey Keitel for the new boss!Or just give it to Todd Packer
9/7/2010 2:14:50 PM
The only major arcs were:- Halpert wedding- Halpert baby- Dunder Mifflin going bankruptThe minor shit/rest of the season:- Jim/Michael sharing boss duties- Andy trying to get with Erin- Unsinkable Molly Brown coming to town/running shitand of course..- Michael being (exceptionally, even for The Office) awkward

Season 6 goes on sale sometime soon, if it hasn't already. The initial price point for season 5 was ridiculous. Over $50. I'll probably do what I did with season 5... buy it on a whim once it drops down to $15. $15 seems to be the right price for any recent season of the Office.
9/7/2010 2:55:08 PM
^It came out today, 31.99 at best buy
9/7/2010 3:06:01 PM
I paid $19.99 for Season 2 on DVD. That was the best season.... ever.
9/7/2010 3:09:22 PM
As a fan from the very first episode, I can say this:Let this show die already.
9/7/2010 7:19:03 PM
last season's wedding episode was HOF worthy
9/7/2010 8:06:49 PM
^Watching it right now lol
9/7/2010 11:25:44 PM
I think they need another diversity day, y'all.
9/8/2010 12:37:14 AM
Rather see another Dundies. I think that was my favorite episode in the series.

So, I was just kicking through the NBC website, and they posted the video open for the first episode. Awful and really not funny. Who could have thought that was a good idea? Definitely going to skip that on the DVR when I watch it. I guess the only good thing was that Pam's rack looked fine...^^ I see you posted it already -- you thought that was funny? Eh, different strokes. My least favorite Scrubs episode ever was the musical thing so maybe I'm just weird not to like that kind of stuff. HIMYM got it right with the tiny 2:30 minute funny suit song though.*** Also, I'm re-watching some of the episodes from Season 6 since I just got the DVD a few days ago and even though the overall story arc failed IMO, the individual episodes are still getting a pretty decent laugh from me.[Edited on September 22, 2010 at 12:36 PM. Someone went to Bosley.^^ only one of those I liked was Lecture Circuit[Edited on September 22, 2010 at 1:46 PM. Reason : my mom hosted a dinner murder mystery thing for charity like that episode]
9/22/2010 1:45:32 PM
^^ Season 1 was just trying to mimic the UK version word for word. It just didn't fit the characters as well as it did in the UK version. Agreed that Michael's hair was distracting, as well as his chubbiness. Glad they let Steve Carrell be more of himself.
9/22/2010 2:25:02 PM
well, i thought the Basketball & Diversity Day episodes were pretty funny, but maybe thats just me

Citizen Kane and the Boondock Saints. lol spot on.
9/23/2010 9:07:22 PM
Okay, some people are saying it's wuphf.com, not wupfh.com.I still don't think it's a coincidence that they are so similar.STILL PISSED!

As horrible as Erin is, they did a good job bringing Gabe on. I really like his character. Decent episode. Better than a lot of the second half of last season, for sure. Liked the Jim/Pam pranks with Dwight acting really self-important.** Oh and off topic, but I watched five minutes of Outsourced and turned it off. This shit is why I can't see a full season of P&R?[Edited on September 23, 2010 at 9:38 PM. Reason : come on]

so better or worse than last season? i don't have room on my dvr (too many shows on at once) for it right now but if it's really awesome then i could change my mind.
9/24/2010 7:14:59 AM
it was very much a stand-alone episode, but a fine one.

haha a woman in my office is the aunt of the guy who is the main star of Outsourced. She has been a one woman PR machine the last few weeks. dont have the heart to tell her it looks TERRIBLE.
9/24/2010 9:20:34 AM
^^I really laughed at the Detroit bit on Outsourced. I want it to survive because I want some reason to make myself feel more accustomed to Indian culture, which seems to dominate engineering. But the Indian people I know aren't funny in real life..
9/24/2010 9:35:04 AM
seriously? The show isn't about Indian culture... the whole joke is Indian people not knowing anything about stupid American culture, which isn't even slightly funny.
9/24/2010 9:36:39 AM
I laughed. But only because I know it is helping to suppress my subconscious racism.
9/24/2010 9:38:10 AM
Oh well, enjoy it while you can, because this shit is going to be canceled with a quickness.
9/24/2010 9:46:16 AM
I liked the idea of Gabe, but not the execution. At first he seemed like a typical unmotivated brooding 16yo wanna-be. Then he turned into a smart-ass ADHD 13yo. Anyways, I don't think he'll be back. Ryan, Kelly, Creed and Meredith still entertain me, but the rest of the cast have become same ol' tired same ol'.
9/24/2010 10:06:34 AM
Outsourced has so much potential, but this potential can never be realized without me as a writer/character on the show.
9/24/2010 10:27:11 AM
I also cannot watch any scene with Erin without thinking of the YouTube dry blowjob video.

I forgot what it was, but something Creed said during the "debate" was fantastic and had me LOLing. Also, I love when Michael goes on Toby bashing for no reason (lol, when he said the guy cheating with his girl was "just a notch above Toby" last year) so him having to be counseled by him could be hilarious...
