CRT monitors aren't worth crap anymore... many are just given away...

except maybe on craigslist... maybe they still pay... I don't know though

i got a 32" CRT from a TWWer almost THREE years ago for free

just before that, i paid $10 for a 27" CRT on CL

both were in working order
