http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320048Went with this one. Hopefully it'll work great. The routers a floor down and I assume the ones with the antennas get better reception.

i'll try that stowaway.i was reading and i think i may have possibly found the problem. it says online (but no where on the box) to install it in your 32-bit PCI thing. my desktop runs 64-bit. could this be the problem? and if so how do i fix it; gracias!its still saying that it doesnt have the driver; i dont know what else to do; could it be this whole 32bit and 64bit stuff?[Edited on August 24, 2010 at 5:03 PM. So I made an impulse buy the other day and bought this router:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833127258&Tpk=dir-825for $56 on a day sale. I read some reviews before buying and didn't expect too much out of it. Obviously didn't expect 300mbit or even close to 150mbit. Reviews were saying better than 100 at 15 feet so I assume i'd get atleast that. Picked up a wireless N adapter for my desktop and my MBP has wireless N. Plugged it in on Friday. IT FUCKING SUCKS BALLLLLSSSS. I'm probably 25 feet from the router on the 2nd floor. I put the router like in the window, and my desktop is next to the window right above the office where the router is. According to windows wireless strength it averages probably 58-65 but throughput according to my tests never go above 16-20mit. I'm transfering shit at 2.5MB a second. grrr. I can't hook up my desktop wired yet but eventually will be, and wanted something in the mean time to speed up file transfers. I AT LEAST expected it to be faster than my trusty old linksys 54g but NOOOOOOOOOO. Anyone have any good wireless N router suggestions? Should I try picking up some better antennas? I know they helped boost the signal on my linksys. Spend the money and get a nicer one?
