^^^ hell yeah. that's a great song and a great (double) album.Crowes are one of my top five favorite bands. I've always thought them to be one of the most underrated acts out there. I'll put some more good material from them up:[Edited on November 9, 2010 at 11:59 PM. Reason : ]

for my money, the best youtube clip of the Crowes is "Feelin' Alright" from the early days of Letterman

Back to the top to remind y'all that vinylbandit can be and has been wrong as fuck about something.
10/12/2016 10:58:33 AM
what other metric would you use to determine a biggest hit?
10/13/2016 9:56:54 PM
A Facebook poll. Data mining Spotify subscribers' playlists. Counts of times played on pop radio stations. Average number of breasts flashed during the song at live shows. Whatever. Jesus. Those are all off the top of my head.
10/14/2016 6:13:25 AM
the Crowes are the shit. Vinyl is overrated
10/14/2016 8:14:15 AM
vinylbandit it's black crowes not counting crows if that was the problem
2/20/2017 1:25:52 PM
goddamn i love this band.
2/21/2017 12:02:34 AM
so...just a quick little story...maybe nobody else will think it's kinda neat, but whatever.back when i was in college, i almost bought a guitar amp that had belonged to a dude named Audley Freed (don't remember if it was a consignment or if the guitar shop owned it. doesn't really matter).Audley Freed got his start with Raleigh's Cry Of Love, a great local band that had one major radio hit (Peace Pipe) and a couple of other more minor hits. At the time, though, he had joined the Black Crowes (he played with them for several years, recording an album or two, too). His amp sounded bad ass, and I wanted it, and actually could have afforded it even then as a college kid, but it was obvious that it had been gigged fucking hard. The store clerk even told me, "Yeah, you can see here where it caught on fire." It was the amp that Peace Pipe had been recorded on, and I kinda wish now that I had bought it, just for the history of it. I mean, if it was all fucked up, now it wouldn't be any big deal to fix it...but at the time, I knew I could only afford the amp, and I'd be shit outta luck if the whole thing went to hell and had to be totally reworked. I ended up buying another amp, which served me well for many years, but wasn't as cool as Audley Freed's amp.[Edited on February 21, 2017 at 12:18 AM. Reason : ]
