I need to have my front and rear brake pads on my 2005 VW Jetta replaced. I have the brake pads already and tried to change them myself over the weekend but got stuck with not being able to remove the nut holding the front calipers in place. Also, I don't have the tool to remove rear brake pads.So if you know of any mechanic or can do this for me, let me know your labor cost and experience changing pads on these Jetta. Thanks!

So you didn't buy rotors like recomended in the other thread. You will come and complain in two months and ask why they are making noise and shaking.

Actually, zxappeal will fuck with VWs all day long.My specialty before Datsun Z cars and all Asian makes was air cooled VW and early waterpumpers (including the diesels). I can work on a Type I, II, III, or IV VW with the best of 'em.Of course, the new generations of waterpumpers are a bit different, but I do have a good working knowledge of all Bosch fuel injection systems from D-Jetronic all the way to Motronic. Not that it applies much anymore.
