Are the best item on the menu at Bojangles. Too bad the Triangle locations don't carry this item. You can get it in any eastern NC Bojangles. It will seriously change your life.

7/14/2010 11:35:29 AM
Are they still made with hydrogenated oil?
7/14/2010 11:37:08 AM
they are beyond delicious
7/14/2010 1:15:49 PM
oh yeah I went to Tennessee and they didn't have these, I thought they were a regular menu item.
7/14/2010 1:17:09 PM
what are they?
7/14/2010 1:21:41 PM
they're just a Bo's biscuit with a generous amount of cheddar, rather than that bullshit cheese-product that they normally use.
7/14/2010 1:25:08 PM
7/14/2010 1:27:41 PM
the cheese is the least of taco bells problems
7/14/2010 3:59:01 PM
red lobster's chesapeake bay biscuits ftw!
7/14/2010 4:00:40 PM
^^Please explain.^

http://www.becajun.com/Tands, Inc. Bojangles are head and shoulders above the restbeen saying it for years[Edited on July 14, 2010 at 4:03 PM. Reason : they're made with lard. i don't know and don't care if that's hydrogenated]
7/14/2010 4:02:51 PM
yep, i grew up on some tands
7/14/2010 4:03:48 PM
7/14/2010 4:07:25 PM
I'm with Neuse -- don't care what's in Bojangles, just know it's delicious. As I said in another thread, if you told me that eating Bojangles would turn me gay I'd shrug and stop by Priscilla's on my way there to pick up some lube, just in case.
7/14/2010 4:30:30 PM
7/14/2010 4:53:41 PM
all i said was i didn't care if it contains hydrogenated oil
7/14/2010 5:07:47 PM
^Yeah, I guess my post was more directed at Grumpy. But really, why do you not care? Why would you not care about hydrogenated oil, but care about lead dust or bull semen? You imply that all that matters is:1) it tastes good2) you don't immediately die from eating itIs that right?
7/14/2010 5:09:54 PM
all things in moderation man
7/14/2010 5:13:03 PM
What else should I be caring about? Long-term health risks?Given the choice between a) dying slightly earlier and enjoying my food, and b) dying slightly later while not enjoying my food, I'm gonna go with the option that allows me to enjoy something I have to do several times a day.
7/14/2010 5:19:58 PM
^I agree, butIf you could choose between:Bojangles with hydrogenated fats, and Bojangles without hydrogenated fats. (tastes exactly the same, believe it or not)I assume you'd choose the latter. I just don't see why anyone wouldn't.(of course, you don't have this choice...)
7/14/2010 5:26:18 PM
I had one of these yesterday for the first time in two years (Carteret County has them, thank god).Man it fucking eclipsed my Cajun Fillet biscuit.
7/14/2010 5:41:18 PM
meh. its just a biscuit and cheese.[Edited on July 14, 2010 at 5:49 PM. Reason : f]
7/14/2010 5:48:42 PM
Yea, but biscuits with cheddar cheese are good. :<
7/14/2010 5:52:08 PM
or is it??
7/14/2010 5:53:17 PM
WHY CANT I FIND A PICTURE OF THIS
7/14/2010 6:10:49 PM
cause its overrated as hell and isnt even good?
7/14/2010 6:12:58 PM
I'm pretty sure Bisquick still has hydrogenated oil, and milk has t3h hormones, but if you don't care:1 part2 partsand as much as you wantmix, bake, enjoy
7/14/2010 6:16:03 PM
Yea, Bojangles biscuits aren't the same as Bisquick biscuits, no matter how much butter and salt you jam into it (because holy hell will you need a lot).
7/14/2010 7:25:35 PM
Are they similar to Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits? They are my favorite biscuit of the cheddar variety.
7/14/2010 8:16:00 PM
even I will break down for the bojangles biscuit.they but crack-cockaine in it, not lard.
7/14/2010 8:22:53 PM
^Well, baking soda is leavening, right?
7/14/2010 8:38:19 PM
^^^Very much different, they are greasier, far more cheese, and might as well have been dunked in butter. Those cheddar biscuits are the only thing at Red Lobster worth purchasing and they're free.
7/14/2010 10:18:23 PM
now I want one. nom!
7/14/2010 10:33:34 PM
well...that was a tasty first experience
3/30/2015 9:35:07 AM
I was surprised how delish this was.
3/30/2015 10:00:24 AM
I was underwhelmed...
3/30/2015 10:14:52 AM
I was whelmed
3/30/2015 7:57:14 PM
Had my first one last week. Was good. Not great. Will probably eat again.
3/30/2015 8:43:35 PM
^must have had a bad one. They should all be great.
3/31/2015 9:15:48 AM
My biscuit was ridiculously soft. Normally I like a little crunch on the outer layer...but with the melted cheese, I understood that it would be near impossible to get that. It really was delicious. I could have had three. But I had one and a cajun filet instead...which was equally delicious.
3/31/2015 9:39:37 AM
^^Ehh,...I love cheese biscuits, but there wasn't necessarily anything really special about this one. In the past I've gotten a Bojangles biscuit and melted cheese in it on my own. Still good that way
