Brings back memories of reading the Mary Stuart books, The crystal cave, hollowed hill, can't remember the last one. She did a fantastic job of weaving her novels from known facts. In her books Merlin was a talented engineer, medicine man, and multi-linguist.

No truth to the rumor that Thomas Ian Nicholas has already signed up for a sequel

Ah, all the years of posting nonsense in Soap Box have finally caught up with hooksaw. No one can even take him serious when he takes a break from being a moonbat and moves on to something legitimately intersting. Its almost poetic. Almost.[Edited on July 12, 2010 at 3:12 PM. Reason : ]

^^^you mean this sequel?http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0127624/
7/17/2010 9:52:53 AM
^^^ Not the case at all. This topic is a fairly good one and should be addressed as such. There are plenty of people here that I don't agree with. But I don't go around just trying to wreck their threads. And perhaps you could direct us to all of your quality TSB threads--or any other forum, for that matter. *Crickets*

The Lounge has become Chit Chat 2. It blows.FWIW, though, this is pretty neat. I'm not much of a history buff, but I still think it's cool. Flying Tiger might like it.
7/18/2010 12:42:44 PM
how is this a lounge thread?
7/18/2010 1:07:02 PM
I smell hoax. Who preserves a table? Who builds a table for a 1000 people when you can't hear across it?

Perhaps the historicity of King Arthur is dubious at best. Why is this a big deal?Is hooksaw meta-trolling?
7/20/2010 1:35:43 PM
^^ Thanks for the serious response. I appreciate it.^ The find at issue could help, in some way, to establish King Arthur as more fact than fiction. And, no, I'm not trolling.
7/20/2010 1:50:42 PM
The problem is that Britain is filled with sites that people like to claim is part of Arthurian Legend. I don't think that one more such site proves anything unless they can find some sort of strong archaelogical evidence that a king named Arthur existed, much less held court there.Yes, I know that many hypotheses exist that draw parallels between the Arthur of legend and historical British kings from the post-Roman period, but all of those are just conjecture by people who would like for the legends to be true and have yet to be supported by hard evidence.]
