Selling my Saturn, just curious to see how it's doing. Also interested in checking out the 12v and v-twin, but those aren't time-sensitive. looking to do it this week, hopefully Thursday or Friday afternoon/evening. It'd be great if you could come to me as the Saturn's registration is out of date, but no biggie if I have to drive it. Can compensate in $, beer, trade of services, or any combination thereof. PM methanksdave[Edited on June 16, 2010 at 4:54 PM. Reason : asdf]

Honestly, if I was selling it I wouldn't want to know. But I've got a gauge down the street from you if you want to use it. I'm around most evenings after 6.

tripD pointed out the cheapness of the tools involved...i'll probably just buy them and have themlooks like i can get away with compression testing all three vehicles for <30 bucks and own all the tools afterwardbut should I decide otherwise I will hit y'all up in short orderand in any case thanks for the offersi really want to know for the Saturn more as a selling point...if i'm getting a good seal all the way across that'll go a long way toward getting my asking price out of itand if not I can give the potential buyer a heads up.. I'm not in the business of intentionally screwing people[Edited on June 16, 2010 at 6:28 PM. Reason : sdf]

my old man had one until a round track engine we built popped it

Dave...I can do a compression test on everything but the diesel. You gotta have a special adapter to do it and a gauge capable of reading that high. Not cheap, and not available over the counter at most parts stores. Lemme know what you wanna do, and I'll hook a brotha up cheap. I need the moneys, lol.

ended up buying a gauge at advance and doin it myself190 - 180 - 185 - 210a dash of oil took all cylinders up to ~210manual spec. is 180+, so i'd say the motor's running strong for a high-mileage $900 car
