Hey guys,We are trying to find a good outdoor pool for our Golden Retriever -- the main requirements being that it must be fairly durable (no cheapo inflatable pools) so this his claws do not damage it, and it must be a decently large size -- large enough to give an 80lb Golden Retriever enough room to play a bit. It doesn't have to be deep enough to swim in or anything, just wide enough he can jump in/out and play around a bit.If anyone has any recommendations on a pool that has worked well for them, please let us know! Also, if anyone knows of any local shops that may carry what we are looking for, please post that information as well. Thanks!

how about one of those 15' diameter pools? 3' high. lay some vinyl down on the bottom or something

+1 on the plastic pool from wally world. Get the bigger one, my 70lb dog loved hers.

Been wondering the same thing. Expect anything plastic isn't an option. Our dog chews on EVERYTHING. Except the chew toys we buy him The best solution I can come up with is a HUGE feed/water bin from Agrisupply/the like. Anyone got anything better in mind?

xtine, I still say you take that little "landscaped" area just inside the backyard and sink one of those plastic pools in it. that way he wont have edges to chew on.oh, and hardware stores have those koi pond liners that are basically the same material, but can be ordered pretty large.[Edited on June 13, 2010 at 2:41 PM.
