Here's my arm-chair synopsis:

Rampage seems lazy and he hasn't fought in over a year. Rashad should win if he plays it smart and doesn't let himself get into a brawl.

Of course, neither of them stand a chance against Shogun. Rashad was humiliated by Machida, who was humiliated by Shogun. And Rampage has lost to Shogun before. The future doesn't look bright for either of these guys.

This will be a fun fight to watch just because of the bad blood between the two, but I'm not expecting too much. I see it ending as a decision going to Rashad.

And what do you mean outside of the LHW division the UFC looks crappy? 155 has a rematch of Penn vs. Edgar coming up, Florian vs. Maynard in Boston as well. 170 is always interesting because it's such a ridiculously deep division, and the HW division has never been more exciting. The only division that is still in a lull is the MW division.

Went as expected. Rashad by decision. Rampage conditioning & overall killer instinct just not there right now, although he's obviously a fan favorite. Maybe I just have not followed Rashad for long enough, but I don't remember him taking on Anderson Silva manneurisms in previous fights, acting like a damn orangutang in the ring. IMO, he has regressed since beating Forrest Griffin and I don't see him taking out Shogun.

Wasn't a great main event, but with all the hype I figured it wouldn't deliver. Some of the non title main events need to start being 5 rounds, 3 just isn't enough. That fight might have been better with 2 more rounds. But the under card fights were mostly good, was funny to see the fat dude get his ass beat and end up winning especially since he was as shocked as he was that he had won.

Rashad was just trying to get out of there after rampage tagged him. Could have been like lard ass vs muscles mcgee fight. Rashad was dominating the whole thing until that 1 punch. But after that, Rampage did absolutely nothing while Rashad was stumbling around the ring. Zero killer instinct.
