Anyone ever use one of these to tune a carb? Cant seem to find if its a wideband controller or not. Little suspect since its as cheap as it is (relatively).

does it only work within 12:1 and 15:1? that doesn't seem very wideband to me

It's a 3 wire narrowband sensor.



Narrowband sensors are only designed to tell you whether it is rich or lean of 14.7:1 . Trying to figure out an AFR from the 0-1V signal is not reliable, especially since the signal varies greatly with exhaust temperature. Most widebands used in aftermarket applications (chiefly the Bosch LSU family of sensors) have 5 wires and a more sophisticated control system.
