Altanta = W@ Tennessee = W@ Tampa = WBaltimore = ?Cleveland = W@ Miami = WLeftwich should go 5-1....possibly 6-0when Ben gets off suspension, and the team is squarely in 1st place in the AFC, does Tomlin break up the mojo and give Ben his starting job back?

I use to think Leftwich was going to be a great quarterback. Boy was I wrong.
4/22/2010 9:27:30 AM
You can't mark those wins. The only ones you can mark as likely wins are Tampa and Cleveland.Atlanta, Tennessee and Miami could be 10 win teams next year.Pitt could easily be 2-4 or 3-3.Remember, they didn't even make the playoffs this year.
4/22/2010 9:30:18 AM
^ yup
4/22/2010 9:35:29 AM
that's the beauty of a "what if" thread
4/22/2010 9:36:36 AM
^^^ Easily agree III[Edited on April 22, 2010 at 9:37 AM. Reason : .]

they lost to the Browns last year with Ben and Santonio. 5-1 or 6-0 seems like a homer prediction.
4/22/2010 10:00:07 AM
i fucking hate the Steelers, so there goes the homer tagjust trying to spark a conversation that doesn't involve what CJL ate for breakfast
4/22/2010 10:03:46 AM
....you serious tke?sure, the steelers will get their 100 million dollar man back and sit his ass on the bench and let Byron Leftwich lead the way
4/22/2010 10:24:31 AM
the Steelers don't give a fuck about Ben anymore. that's why they're entertaining some 11th hour draft day trade talks
4/22/2010 10:33:26 AM
everyone entertains talksto say the steelers don't give a fuck about Ben is ridiculousthis will all be forgotten come november
4/22/2010 10:35:15 AM
With the "If" factor....IF Byron is 5-1, 6-0 (and not just skating by with slim wins (7 -3; 10-7) Tomlin does not rock the boat with Berger. But that if is so shaky III
4/22/2010 10:35:29 AM
steelers will def be 0-6 0r 1-5there is no what if about itthey have Hines Ward left to carry them to 6-0

My parents live near Jacksonville and have been there since before the Jags came to town. We got to see Leftwich as his career started. My dad hates the fuck out of him and calls him a spear chucker because of his slow, crappy wind up.
4/22/2010 1:59:41 PM
are you sure your dad isn't just racist?
4/22/2010 2:07:52 PM
^ yeah that too. Really though Leftwich's wind up is horrible and slow.
4/22/2010 2:13:46 PM
I'd be shocked if Leftwich started ahead of Dixon and/or Batch.

posted this in the NFL offseason thread as well, but...http://nflspinzone. com/2010/04/22/ben-r oethlisberger-to-oak land-raiders-a-done- deal/?utm_source=### #.com If they are correct this is a monster deal. Big Ben to Oakland for Asomugha and a swap of first rounders. Wow. Never been on nflspinzone.com so take it how you want, but it seems credible.[Edited on April 22, 2010 at 3:03 PM. Reason : .]

If that deal is true then Big Ben will finally be exposed in Oakland as the average QB that he is. Dude has earned a good rep by playing for well-coached teams with outstanding defenses.

did roethlisberger hire slave famous as his attorney?
