There may already be a topic on point as I don't post in here often, but a quick search didn't yield anything I was looking for.I've noticed websites increasingly using this form of advertising. As soon as you start to load the page you want to see, you are redirected to another ad page where you have to wait a moment to click "Skip this ad" at the top right to go back to the page you originally wanted to look at.I did a few searches online that referred to using a kind of javascript including "gobacktoreferrer" or something like that. I have to admit that stuff is a bit over my head as I don't write code or use java for anything except basic internet functions. Is there a way to prevent your browser from being rerouted this way? Some sites will do it on every page I click on! I use the latest version of IE, which I know isn't the most popular. Is there something I can do to prevent IE from doing this? Is there something in Firefox or another browser that can help prevent this? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Look for a Firefox add-on called Adblock Plus. Use the first site blacklist (easylist USA or some shit). Pretty much blocks every ad out there. Works for me on the full screen ads your talking about.
