I have no idea who the instructor for the course is these days, but I really really recommend doing group study sessions for the homework. Assuming its permitted and not considered cheating, but, that really made a difference for ST421/ST422 and MA405.My other piece of advice, seek out the students in ST521/ST522, as this is one of the main courses ST grad students have to know inside out before take their oral exams.EDIT: I'm getting old, I just realized its 3/4 of the way through the semester and approaching finals. Well, start a finals study group if one isn't there already.[Edited on April 14, 2010 at 8:36 PM. Reason : .]

Not sure if you have done this but the stats department maintains a list of tutors:http://www.stat.ncsu.edu/grad/tutors/I know the room at the bottom of SAS hall has office hours for many of the TAs and they will help you even if it isn't your own TA. But that may just be grad class, I never paid attention to exactly what classes they tutor for.[Edited on April 15, 2010 at 9:36 AM. Reason : link]
