I was leaning towards a mitivac or something similar to push fluid and bleed brakes.

Anything better under $100? or should I budget higher?

Thanks.

I've got some kind of hand pump from Advance for pumping fluids, and then one of the cheaper mityvacs for testing vacuum solenoids etc.

I have a Mityvac from Autozone. Cost $30 and makes brake bleeding stupidly easy, all by yourself.
