Interesting list...

1. Forza Motorsport 3, Xbox 360, 2009
2. Super Mario Kart, SNES, 1993
3. Gran Turismo, PlayStation, 1998
4. Project Gotham Racing 3, Xbox 360, 2005
5. Race Driver: GRID, Xbox 360, 2008
6. Diddy Kong Racing, N64, 1997
7. Burnout 3: Takedown, PlayStation 2, 2004
8. Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament, Mega Drive, 2004
9. Metropolis Street Racer, Dreamcast, 2000
10. Road Rash 2, Mega Drive, 1993

Good to see Mario Kart on there, though my favorite version is GC's Double Dash. As far as Gran Turismo the 4th one is the best so I dunno why they just listed the first. Kinda surprised there wasn't a Need For Speed game (preferably the Road & Track original). And finally, I loved Micro Machines racing on NES, but I'm not familiar with this newer version.

^They said top 10 racing games, not racing simulators. That's an entirely different list.

If we were talking simulators, I'd be in agreement

I used to play Pole Position with my Dad when I was almost too young to remember.

I lost a lot.

Didn't like Forza 3 (unless you can adjust throttle sensitivity, I didnt play long)

I loved the SNES Top Gear series... no relation to the show.

And RR2 for the Genesis (#10) killed many an hour back in the day
