This will be the first time I'm filling out FAFSA forms by myself (hey, at least I admit it), and I have a question or two.

I spoke with someone at FAFSA about my forms being processed, and they said that it will be sent to the university after it is approved. Is there any step I need to do after this? Do I need to follow up with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, or do I just check MyPack in a little while to see when aid has been approved for the Fall 2010 semester?

yeah you're pretty much done, they process stuff on fridays so check on fridays or that next monday
