This is in Wake County. Trying to help a minor out, and all the topics on this are several years old. I'm sure there are a lot of people on TWW that have had this problem.

he should sue the store that gave it to him
2/3/2010 9:53:40 PM
That requires a lawyer, dipshit.

i wouldn't have guessed this angle but with lewoods you never know - is his plan to sue the people that allowed him to become in possession of the alcohol in the first place?
2/3/2010 10:13:38 PM
i was just joking but if "her friend" is considering that then i await further updates in great anticipation
2/3/2010 10:16:42 PM
if its the first one, dont waste time and money with a lawyer. just do the first offenders program.if this "friend" is a dumb fuck and gets caught repeatedly, then hire said lawyer.

Is he a student at State? If he is he can go to Student Legal Services and talk to them.

go through the safetylight? programits like the 40/42 program or something like that.they give you a workshop to attend and drop the case.it costs but its worth it
2/4/2010 2:17:24 AM
^ I heard it costs more than the lawyer.......
2/4/2010 8:14:48 AM
I am 27, it would be impossible for me to get a possession ticket since I can have alcohol. No suing, just making a ticket go away.

Crouch is the man I have used him for eleventy billion tickets and they all were dismissed without me doing anything further than paying him.
2/4/2010 10:08:06 AM
Its the 90-96 program not the 40/42 program
2/4/2010 11:35:23 AM
pretty sure the 40/42 program is the same, you just have to wear mossy oak
2/4/2010 11:47:10 AM
JAMES CROUCH = the man

back when i got a ticket, I did the 90-90 program. First Saturday, about 40 of us waited outside in the 20 degree weather for the 'teacher' to show. Never came. We left by 9:30Second Saturday, the lady shows up. It's this older (50 something maybe?) hardcore, large black lady. She was a lot like Madea, for serious. It was entertaining as hell to listen to her stories and profanity.

james crouch has indeed worked some magic for me as well

^^when he asked me how i heard of him i told him i got it from this site. he said that he is familiar with it and has helped a few people from here. he then told me his normal fee was X and he'd just charge me Y but to send him some business some time.I have since PM'd many twwers and made sure they went to see him and sent many friends. My friends who never mentioned tww had a higher price for the same offense

doesnt need to do anything but pay it. its an infractionthe only thing a lawyer is going to do is something anyone can do themselves...which is to have their record expunged.problem is you can only do that once. i would wait until later in life to use the expungement since the drinking ticket is a laughable offense and something more frowned upon could happen to them in their less mature years. im not a lawyer by any means, but i did it so i know something about it.
2/5/2010 12:46:30 PM
^ what grace said
2/5/2010 2:01:39 PM
^^ so you've never applied for a federal job?expungement does nothing but get it off your general record. That shit is still up there if you apply for a federal job.
2/5/2010 3:48:41 PM
actually it blocks it from both federal and state background checks. not to mention it is an infraction that wont stop you from getting a job. ive never applied for a job
