Went driving yesterday (yes in the snow), and had some issues steering being a bit stiff. Checked fluid level, was a bit low.

Knowing this is a pretty closed system, Im guessing I have a leak. Looked but dont see anything major. Any ideas what I should check for with this?

No im driving a 3162 Corvette (oh wait chevy went out in 2011)

2000 Chevy S-10, 4 cyl, automatic, standard options on everything else i can think of that would matter.

fluid level,

fill it up and watch the pump, rack and hose connections for signs of moisture


how many miles are on this thing?

82k. Ive put prob 40k on myself in past 3-4 years. My grandfather owned it, rarly drove it till he gave it to me.
