I think they're $1.95 or $2.95 in the store and you definitely get what you pay for.

Mine worked about 3 times before it went to "if you shake it and hold it just right it'll work" mode. Probably just the battery contacts not making contact or a bad power button, but I'm not spending a lot of time on a $3 flashlight. It's a shame too...The aluminum housing and LEDs are really decent, but a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

I went to that Northern Tool (IIRC), in Northpoint Shopping Center (The one in Cary off Buck Jones Rd, where the Grand Asian Market is...) I purchased a set from them a while back because they had the cheapest set around in town. I don't know if that's still the case.
