felt motivated to shoot espn.com an email500+ comments at the bottom of the article and 50 or so are inhumane, 100% distasteful trolling attempts.they really shouldn't allow comments at the end of severe injury/death articles. what's the point?

I guess that's where Jaybee must be hanging out.

thats not a stupid questionthats scary as hell since I assume there is no way of knowing, i was thinking about this yesterday and I really was wondering if there were some way i can be assessed for thisit just amazes me how undetected this can go, considering the amount of doctors collegiate athletes have access to

i went to HS with an Olympic caliber swimmer who got a full ride to swim for Hawaii, he was a great guy that got along with everyone2 months after first semester started they found him at the bottom of the training pool, his heart had either just stopped or exploded

^^^fuckin scary stuff, ive been involved in athletic at a high level for years (no doubt not as high as a these professionals in their sports) but it seems liek you cant really know if it is disease related or normal workout size increase unless ou stop trainign for a while and determine whether your heart shrinksit doesnt even seem like a matter of how healthy our lfestyle is or how little drugs you take, its hereditary. But who is to say that this condition hasnt come up in your family and either wasnt found as a cause of death, or the enlarged heart never killed a family member because perhaps they werent athletic nor involved in any strenuous activity for very long if at all.I reckon Id visit a cardiologist, i wonder what kind of tests theyd do
