When I took this class we were able to get it at a really discounted price through the teacher who worked something out with AISC. Anybody who has graduated and still has this book is going to cling to it for dear life, because it is their lifeblood. Plus they're damned expensive to replace when you're not a student.I would just pay the price the teacher's offering to get it for, or ask to borrow somebody's copy, go to a kinkos or something, make a copy of the book by hand, and be done with it. IIRC I paid $120... Maybe it was $180. I don't remember very well, so nevermind.

yeah i graduated, im looking to find it for $120. i wasnt planing on going into the steel design world after college... butttt the economy changed my decision.
