people can't win. they complain when people offer too little cash off for gift cards and now they complain with people offer too much off.

I'd buy them, but they treated me like shit once and I swore I'd never buy anything else at Best Buy...and I never will. Going on seven years now. Generally speaking I'd say "well that was just one bad team of salespersons and manager", but it's not. It's a systemically horrible store.

since when is best buy gift card cash equivalent? most of the stuff they sell are overpriced anyway. You can find much better deal online. I don't even remember when's the last time I bought something from best buy.

I only purchase from Best Buy when they are having sales; at all other times all their products are overpriced.

Laugh all you want, but that's how capitalism works...or doesn't.

if you're going to sell best buy giftcards, generally your customer is going to be someone who, for some reason, likes shopping at best buy - so the argument of them being overpriced is irrelevant because that doesn't stop this person

theres no reason he cant sell his $430 worth of gift cards for $400 on craigslist but the fact that he's willing to take such a huge loss means he's either desperate, not bright, or just plain doesn't care as money is of little value to him

like i said, i'd be more than willing to buy them from him, i just dont understand why he's offering them at that price when it's a cash equivalent, albeit at an overpriced store to begin with

not a rant, i'm just really curious about the OP

Hey all Cards sold pending p/u. True I could have sold them on ebay for as little as $30 off but i would have had to pay tons in selling fees plus shipping/insurance and paypal fees and then waited to receive funds. I prefer a quick sale where i dont have to wait too long for a fish to bite. thanks for the interest.

I, too have had multiple terrible experiences there. I only go there to see a product before I buy it online. I only buy from best buy if I have an identical item that broke. Then I go buy the same item from best buy, take the new, working one, replace the faulty one in the box, and return it to best buy.

fuck them.

secondly, this is a free thread bump since I have no interest in the gift cards.

Not understand the hate for Best Buy. I find great deals there all the time. I never buy anything that isn't on sale, but who does?
