I fully anticipate the "kill it with fire" responses. But it was worth a shot putting it up here.

Can I adopt them...and then...euthanize them with concentrated high levels of heat?

jeebus, i want a tarantula sooooooooo badmy other half likes snakes, but draws the line at spiders of any size (though larger is worse, in her mind)
1/5/2010 3:31:06 PM
^the little moderatum will take FOREVER to get to any significant size.

Ill take a tarantula, perferrably a harty one.
1/5/2010 3:37:26 PM

1/5/2010 3:43:57 PM
Those are pacman frogs, right?I've only ever owned Whites tree frogs.
1/5/2010 3:50:14 PM

put them all in a rubbermaid container, shake it up, and let us know which ones are left at the end of each day

What do i feed the spyders crickets?
1/6/2010 2:22:54 PM
all these guys will eat crickets or roaches. i have a small roach colony left if you need a few till you can get food yourself.
1/6/2010 2:54:48 PM
Do any of those frogs make you trip if you lick them?
1/6/2010 4:28:14 PM

the small roach colony is the remnants of the original colony that fed over 140 tarantulas. and as far as regrowing legs... I DO WHAT I WANT!

I wish I could get one of the frogs. My cat is mischievous as fuck though, so it wouldn't last long.[Edited on January 16, 2010 at 11:11 PM. Reason : .]

we have 5 cats and we've never had a problem. every cage has a lid (and you could always buy clamps for the lid).

Remaining unsexed pyxie, chubby frog, A. moderatum and E. pachypus all free to good homes.

Lauren! Long time no chat!I can't believe you're unloading your tarantulas, that'd be like me unloading my snakes! P.S. I still have Nitro!

Hah, I'm keeping 3 tarantulas from my original 140ish. I'd whittled it down to 9 before Tess was born, but I've finally decided to only keep the ones that are the most important to me (my first and second tarantulas, and the one I got from a friend before he died).
