I'm sure you can find a TWWer or two that would be willing to house your cat(s) for a few weeks in exchange for $$$.Otherwise, there are plenty of places to board them like Petsmart or the vet.I'd do it, but I already have 2 cats. i had to board my cat for a whole month while i was moving 2 years ago. i boarded her at the vet and got a 10% discount for paying cash up front. if you have to go the boarding route, try to negotiate a discount if you can afford to pay up front in cash

That's a really good idea. I can afford to pay cash. Great idea. Where did you board? Uh...I'm a dumbass.I just noticed you said the vet. and not around here, I know.[Edited on December 28, 2009 at 6:43 PM. Reason : blah]

Ansede Animal Hospital is charging Z and I $18/day to board a dog that's pretty needy and labor-intensive. I'd bet you can definitely get a cat boarded there for $15/day or less. Also, if you list me/Z as a referral, you'll get a $5 account credit As far as TWWers...I wish I could help you out on that.

Fantastic! His demeanor could be a little less brusque, but...eh. I love having out pets there. elise used to work for a (different) vet, and referred people to Ansede.
