My friend has a 348. It doesn't suck.
12/22/2009 8:08:10 AM
For what they are, they suck.Pretty much all they have going for them are looks.[Edited on December 22, 2009 at 8:38 AM. Reason : grammar]

12/22/2009 8:59:09 AM
^not if you get the one that has free bottle service for a year.
12/22/2009 9:59:07 AM
Why does the 348 suck?
12/22/2009 10:07:02 AM
^it's expensive as hell to maintain. It's build quality is pretty crappy. They're still not cheap (I'd guess around $70-80k). And they're not THAT fast (0-60 in mid 5s).They are pretty to look at though.
12/22/2009 10:37:16 AM
whatever that car is called that is based on the new corvette and looks like it was in some crappy 1988 movie about the future. and cost $2 million.
12/22/2009 10:55:42 AM
I didn't know the delorian sp? Was built around the vette. Lol.
12/22/2009 11:00:44 AM
So all Ferraris from the 80s suck.
12/22/2009 12:08:33 PM
^^he's talking about the Bertone Mantide[Edited on December 22, 2009 at 12:10 PM. Reason : "DeLorean"]
12/22/2009 12:10:15 PM
^^no, b/c you can buy 308s and 328s in the $30ks
12/22/2009 12:41:43 PM
older Ferraris (unless they are 60s or earlier) just scream poser to me.
12/22/2009 3:05:59 PM
__________ <-- Insert random BMW here.
12/22/2009 4:56:30 PM
I'd totally rock a 328 (or its older brother the 308, or semi-supercar derivative GTO). But to my eye it's the last "classic" Ferrari before 80's styling came to town in the form of the Testarossa and 348. As much as I like the Testarossa, those do kind of have a "poser" look to them nowadays.
12/22/2009 5:05:49 PM
I personally wouldn't settle for the 348. I'd man up and just get a 355. But, considering my options, if I even had that kind of money to spend, it would be spent elsewhere ATM.
12/22/2009 7:09:43 PM
jaguar.
12/22/2009 11:08:37 PM
^^^lol, there was nothing "semi" supercar about the GTO. That car was straight up nasty. Also never sold in the US
12/23/2009 9:19:21 AM
I think you look like a wannabe Ferrari owner with an 80s or 90s Ferrari, at least anything pre 360 Modena. they're dated but they're not classic.
12/23/2009 3:38:51 PM
I would totally rock a Testarossa. Hot and unique, inside and out, even among other Ferraris.Modern Ferraris are just cock-enhancements for the super-rich. 80s Ferraris might not be the prettiest, but I bet their owners appreciate them a whole lot more.
12/23/2009 10:14:56 PM
agreed on liking the Testarossa, although the interior is garbage compared to the car in generaldisagreed on not like modern Ferraris. What in the hell is wrong with you?
12/23/2009 10:52:06 PM
12/23/2009 10:54:15 PM
Im sure if i saw the repair estimates on any 80s ferrari I would be quick to pickup a wrench.righty tighty
12/24/2009 4:44:54 PM
12/24/2009 11:53:41 PM
do you think those 80s Ferraris were owned by "respectable gear heads" in the 80s? no, they were owned by the same type of people who own them now.
12/25/2009 12:00:32 AM
lol
12/25/2009 9:21:03 AM
All types of capable cars are owned by douche nozzles. What do you think the % of "gear heads" to your garden variety asshat make up the owners of say a Corvette, or a Lotus. Even consider something far more pedestrian like a 350z... No, "capable" cars appeal to dilweeds because of their image. Cars like new Ferraris will inevitably go to those that obviously have the means to be more obnoxious. BTW, some of those 80s Ferraris are both horrible looking and under performing while being over priced... Please don't defend them for the sake of humanity. Ugh.

Sometimes Ahmet makes me cry...
12/25/2009 7:30:43 PM
gg ahmet.luxury suvs. They;re always a dumb alternative to an identical-spec luxo sedan.

12/28/2009 9:33:09 AM
^ Agreed... the F355 is definitely one of the hottest Ferraris ever. 360 Modena is ugly if you ask me. F430 is hot, but still not as hot as the F355. 458 Italia is also hot, but in a different way from the F355.The shape/body type of the F355 is just something else... gorgeous. (very different from the 360/F430/458)
12/28/2009 3:36:23 PM
I've yet to be turned on by any Ferrari design to come after the 360.
12/28/2009 3:52:00 PM
from some angles the 355 reminds me too much of an 850i or a 1st gen 3000GT--even though the Ferrari styling mostly came first

http://www.norwoodperformance.com/stage_3.htmnorwood performance... making 80s ferraris not suck.btw testies are good investments... they're going to be the hemi cuda of our generation i'd put everything i have on it. that being said my expensive car that sucks....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-FORD-SHELBY-GT-350-ORIGINAL-ABSOLUTELY-MINT_W0QQitemZ120509950087QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item1c0ef3e887these things suck heavy as crap and slow but people see shelby and shit a brick over them. matter of fact all semi rare muscle cars are waaaaaay over inflated now.in 1997 i could have bought a restored k code mustang for 12k....now you can't find one under 40k
