looks like the classical hour will be confined to this thread, and extended to *all the hours*

thanks evan nah you do kind of suck tho. you literally have never responded to me or liked a post of mine on Twitter and I swear to god I've been following you since like 2009 but anyway I can forgive you, I suppose. to those who don't know wtf I'm talking about, evan hosted euphalo.com for a while, so we had talked about a TWW radio broadcast lol, and evan took euphalo.com down and DASHED ALL OF OUR DREAMS OF MAKING IT BIG IN INTERNET RADIO

check these pros on this A Major string quartet of Mozart, they nailed it

this is one of the quartets dedicated to Haydn (of which there are 6 in total) - Haydn was about 24 years senior to Mozart, and from what I can tell, Mozart's string quartets are highly structured the same as Haydn's (Haydn is considered to be the "father of the string quartet" (as he popularized the grouping of the instruments - two violins, a viola and a cello) - and "father" of the symphony.

it appears that Mozart didn't actually study with Haydn as his teacher, instead studying Haydn's compositions and perfecting the same type of music

just from reading and listening to radio stations/CDs etc, I know that there was a time (presumably in Vienna) where Haydn and Mozart played string quartets together with others. according to wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haydn_and_Mozart) their relationship with each other is not well-documented.

can I get a cool story bros? well, enjoy this music if you want, brought 2 u by Camerata San Antonio (quartet)
